How do I forward mail from my PO Box^™ if I move?

To change your address, the PO Box^™ customer, or an authorized representative of the organization listed on Form 1093, needs to file a temporary or permanent Change of Address request. You can file a permanent request online at usps.com/poboxes. Temporary requests must be submitted at the Post Office^™ where your box is located. 请注意：If others are receiving mail at this box, it's the responsibility of the official box holder to forward their mail.

How do I close a PO Box^™ if I move?

You can close a PO Box^™ at usps.com/poboxes. Sign in to your account and then click on the Close/Request Refund link next to the box. How do I cancel mail forwarding?

Can I ship large or oversized items to a PO Box^™?

Yes. If the item is too large to fit in the box, a notice will be left for the box holder and the item can be picked up at the postal counter.

Can I ship items that need a signature to a PO Box^™

Yes. For deliveries that require a signature, like Priority Mail Express^®, a delivery notice will be left inside the PO Box^™. If the box holder waives the need for a signature, the item will be left in the box.

Can I ship overnight delivery items to a PO Box^™?

Yes. If the item does not fit in the PO Box^™, we'll leave a notice for the box holder.

Can I renew my PO Box^™ online, or do I have to do it in person?

There are four ways you can renew your PO Box^™:

You can set up automatic renewal payments online to pay your PO Box^™ fees on your payment due date, using a credit or debit card. To set up automatic payments, go to usps.com/poboxes and click Manage PO Box. After you sign in, find the box you want to set-up for automatic payments, click See Details and look for Auto Renewal.

Will my PO Box^™ account be closed if my renewal fee is late?

To retain your PO Box^™, you are required to make payments by the 10th of the month the payment is due. If you do not make this payment, your PO Box will be closed on the 11th of the month.

What are the steps to renewing my PO Box^™ online?

If you already have a PO Boxes^™ Online account, go to usps.com/poboxes and click Manage PO Box. You can also set up a new account using the same link. Once you're on the Manage PO Box page, click Renew PO Box and make a one-time payment within 30 days of your payment due date. Your credit card will be stored for future automatic renewals if you've selected the 3-month payment period option or you choose to store it.

Can I get a PO Box^™ for my business?

Yes, you can use a PO Box^™ for both personal and business mail.

You can change your personal account to a business account. Access your profile and in the upper right-hand corner you’ll find a link that enables you to switch your account to a business account.

If you currently have a USPS.com business account, you will be unable to change your account to a personal account.

What additional services can I get if I have a small business?

Caller Service is designed for customers who have more than five PO Boxes^™ at one location or receive more mail than can be delivered to the largest PO Box^™. If there is an overflow of mail, we'll hold the mail for you and you can pick it up during designated business hours. Reserve Service is designed for customers who engage in high-volume promotional mailings and can help distinguish between promotional and standard mail.

How do I link my PO Box to my USPS.com account?

It's easy. Go to usps.com/poboxes, click on the Manage PO Box link and sign in using your USPS.com account.

If you'd like to link a PO Box™ that you signed up for in person to your USPS.com account, click on the Link a PO Box button and sign in. You’ll need your PO Box number and its associated ZIP Code^™, which may be different from the Post Office^™ ZIP Code^™.

How do I manage my PO Box^™ account online?

Go to usps.com/poboxes and click on the Manage PO Box button. Once you sign in, you can:

• Open a new PO Box^™
